Improving your child’s mobility and gross motor skills

Pediatric physical therapists help children move their bodies how and when they want to the best of their abilities to make everyday activities easier.  The goal of physical therapy is to improve your child’s:

  • Flexibility

  • Movement patterns

  • Range of motion

  • Strength

DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services’ (DMG CRS) physical therapists will diagnose and provide specialized therapy to improve your child’s gross motor skills, including standing, sitting, and walking.  Additionally, they may also consider adaptive equipment, such as crutches and other aids, and make recommendations to increase your child’s mobility.

Ofrecemos fisioterapia, Terapia ocupacional y terapia de habla. También tenemos un programa de AAC. Lo que significa que evalúan y se adaptan a los dispositivos de comunicación aumentativa. Queremos que los niños se vuelvan fuertes e independientes,  y eso se ve diferente para cada niño.
