Providing patient and family services to coordinate and ensure family-focused care

DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services’ (DMG CRS) medical social workers ensure that patients and their families have access to the appropriate care and support. Our social workers facilitate family-focused medical treatment during in-person and telehealth appointments.

DMG CRS medical social workers also assist families with coordination of services such as:

  • Interfacing with your child’s school to ensure your child’s unique needs are addressed to optimize learning

  • Locating available resources in the community to cope with emotional, financial, and social needs that arise due to your child’s diagnosis

  • Supporting the physical and emotional needs of you and your family
