Occupational Therapy

DMG CRS occupational therapists are trained to assess and refine eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills, and other functional skills, including dressing, grooming, feeding, and writing. Treatment methods are designed to help patients achieve maximum independence and support quality of life for the patient and family.

Our occupational therapists also consider necessary requirements for adaptive equipment and provide recommendations, referrals and support as appropriate. They are trained to fit and constructs hand, finger, and wrist splints, as needed, to improve mobility and function.

Our team is widely recognized in the field as experts in helping children with spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and other autism-spectrum and neuromuscular disorders.
