Dr. Michael White is the Valleywise Health Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer (EVP, CMO) and serves as a liason between Valleywise, District Medical Group and the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance. Dr. White most recently served as Chief Academic Officer at CHI Health in Omaha Nebraska, a non-profit, faith-based health system providing services in Nebraska and Southwest Iowa. CHI Health is a market-based organization of CommonSpirit Health which is located in 18 states with 101 hospitals, including three academic health centers and major teaching hospitals. Dr. White has also held the role of Associate Dean for Education Innovation at Creighton University School of Medicine also in Omaha Nebraska since 2015.Dr. White is a practicing interventional cardiologist. He is board certified in interventional cardiology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Creighton University. Dr. White received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease. He completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.A practicing interventional cardiologist, he is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Creighton University and his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease.
